Walter "Poke" Shuler- Pastor
Our Pastor, Walt Shuler, also known as "Pastor Poke", has served over 35 years at Honey Brook Baptist Church. In January of 2019, he officially became pastor via church member voting following his father's retirement. His heavy burden for sharing the gospel with lost souls usually begins with his famous line, "What's your story?"

He and his wife, Kristine, have three children: Madelyn Hunt (Jacob), Mackenzie Stone (Brandon), and Isaac.

Nate has been a member of The Brook for almost 10 years. Growing up in Ohio, he was a member of Rubyville in Portsmouth, Ohio. In addition to being our finance manager, he also teaches our Adult Sunday School class. He and his wife, Dianne, have one child: Laila.

Brandon joined The Brook in 2019 and has been a major part in our church. He is from Nitro, WV and met the Shuler family in 2014 when he was invited to preach at a camp meeting. 4 years later, he reconnected with Mackenzie, then later moved to Pennsylvania to pursue a relationship. He and Mackenzie have been married since May 2021.
